Who we are - Chris Kindermans

A PMI (Project Management Institute) and PRINCE 2 Certified Project Manager, Chris holds a Master's Degree (magna cum laude) in Applied Economic Sciences from the Economische Hogeschool in Ghent. He is Professor and Lecturer in Project Management Methodology at XIOS (Diepenbeek), is on the Brussels faculty of Boston University, the European Faculty of PM College, and lectures at a number of other educational facilties including IFBD, Vlerick Management School, and HEC Liege. In a career spanning more than 35 years he has held local and international positions in corporate management, operational management, and project delivery.

In roles at the highest levels of an organisation, Chris leads the definition, development, planning, management, audit, and review, of projects, programmes, and project portfolios. He has extensive practical experience of training and coaching staff at all levels. He can work effectively in routine situations, or under conditions of crisis in operations, commercial and business development, and change management.

Chris has successfully delivered complex programmes both large and small. He has managed successful programme rescues and business turnarounds. With more than 20 years of experience working in international environments and leading multicultural teams, Chris is fluent in Dutch, English, and French.

He has in-depth experience of a range of application areas including: banking and finance; discrete and process manufacturing, (including factory automation and plastics); government; defence and aerospace; and telecommunications. Chris has taken direct responsibility for budgets exceeding €50 million and for groups of more than 100 staff.

Chris has been employed by the Office of the Prime Minister of Belgium, the Belgian Banking Association, Matra Informatique, Logica, and Groupe Bull/Integris. In 2002 he set up his own company: PROYECT@ BVBA and has since worked as an independent Consultant, Coach, and Project Manager for a wide range of clients including: Alcatel-Lucent, FOD Sociale Zaken, Fedict, ECHO, Kronos, Swiss Life, Materialise, P&G, Sara Lee,and TRIMO. He has recently co-founded a new venture Blue 5, developing training programmes for Service Companies and Government Institutions. He is a Founding Associate of Adsensus International.
